This is an ergonomics lattice stool via topological optimization on Grasshopper (Millipede) for dynamic loading with ENVI, eCoginition, and Grasshopper.
WHAT makes a stool ADAPTIVE?
To conform to ergonomics, the supports are designed using the structural optimization tool Millipede based on various postures.
And a rocking foundation is designed to accommodate forward and backward leaning.
WHAT makes a stool STABLE?
Structural optimizations are performed at various stages of the project to ensure the stiffness of the stool.
WHAT makes a seating INTERFACE-FRIENDLY?
We created a lattice seating surface to make the stool visually light, porous, and fuzzy.
